Six subject areas from across the University have been named among the top 100 in the world according to the latest QS World University Ranking By Subject 2023 released today (Wednesday 22 March 2023).
The annual ranking, compiled by higher education analysts QS Quacquarelli Symonds, assesses the performance of 1,594 institutions globally. Its scores are calculated through an analysis of institutional performance including academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per research paper, and a measure of the productivity and impact of the work published by an institutions' scientists and scholars.鈥�

For the third year running, the University has been named in the top 10 list for sports.
