Campaign statement

We must empower members and drive innovation as we shape our legacy while protecting our brand. Every member has a unique story and our challenges are shared. From rising practice costs and workforce shortages to access to care inequities, these challenges impact us all. The МАН·Мх must be the ultimate resource for members in every stage of their careers.

We are advancing the profession through innovation and a commitment to evidence-based standards. With innovation comes responsibility, and we must remain the leader in creating ethical standards for transformative technology. To secure our future, we must align the success of dentists with the mission of advancing public health while upholding the highest ethical standards. Our МАН·Мх Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct distinguishes dentistry and is the foundation for the trust our patients and communities place in us. We must collaborate to strengthen the dentist-patient relationship and advocate for policies that support high-quality care to ensure our profession remains a leader in promoting public health.

What are your main qualifications for the office you seek?

I am an associate in private practice, faculty member and former assistant dental director of a community health center. I can represent multiple perspectives within our profession.
My experience as a mid-career dentist allows me to relate to all members. I understand the challenges faced by new dentists, and I respect the historical knowledge and contributions of those who have served the profession for many years. I am the “pontic” in the membership bridge.
As past chair of the Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs and a member of the Strategic Forecasting Public and Profession subcommittee, I have intimate knowledge about our governance documents and understand our infrastructure and operations.
As a founding member of the 14th District of the Massachusetts Dental Society, we created a brand new component from scratch and overcame challenges with member engagement.
My tenure as president of the Massachusetts Dental Society coincided with onboarding a new executive director.

I respect what we have achieved and as your МАН·Мх second vice president, I will work hard to protect what we have earned. My passion and purpose is dentistry and I believe in the power of organized dentistry to direct the profession. We are making critical decisions today that will determine our legacy. I am prepared to make these decisions with integrity, using my experience to serve and support you.
